Master Sergeant William F. Ramos provides leadership as the Senior Military Instructor in the IUPUI ROTC program. He began his career as a Field Artillery Cannon Crewman at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and has served as a Battery First Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Chief of Section, and Howitzer Gunner. He has also been assigned to the First Battalion Fifth Field Artillery in Fort Riley, Kansas, the Seventh Field Artillery in Schweinfurt, Germany, the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment in Fort Hood, Texas, and the Second Battalion 320th and the 32nd Field Artillery at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Master Sergeant Ramos has been deployed to both Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom twice, as well as Kosovo as a member of KFOR (TF Lightning). He is completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Management and Administration.
